During summer holiday, I came up with some design ideas for the website.
Today, I edited little bit.
June 14th Tue Today, I changed theme (looks) of whole website. I would like to change looks of whole website first, then I would add some pages.
June 8th, Wed I got admin user name and password, so finally I can access to the website. Today, I added some pages.
May 13th, Friday Today, I asked all questions to Mrs.Fukushima. She is a part of culture center named R.C.C. (Short term of Rhythm Culture Center)

My client is Mrs. Fukushima, who is in charge of a culture center called R.C.C. (Short term of Rhythm Culture Center). The culture center provides many different kind of classes, such as English for beginners, Piano class, floral designing class, Gong fu class, and so on. They sometimes does summer school program for beginner English learners.
I interviewed her about what kind of IT problem she has, and she answered that she has a problem with design of the website that introduces that culture center. I asked some questions for getting ideas about how am I going to solve the problem.
Interview Questions and answers Q1. What website is being used now for the culture center?
The website is used for inform general information. For instance, what's this culture center is about, and what are they doing.
Other use is to disclose information about this culture center.
Q2. What do you want to website to do? Advertise? Inform? (aim)
Aim of creating the website is to provide information to member of the culture center, and also to provide newest information about the culture center.
For non-members, the website is used for disclose information such as about classses, date, events, etc...
Q3. What do you want to put on the website?
She want to put information that should be provided for members: Location, holidays, events.
For non-members she wants to provide pictures from classes, what events they have, and what kind of class they provide.
Location, contact number, e-mail address are already on the website, but it is hard to find, so she said it should be easy to find and easy to read.
Need to divide information for members and non-members.
Q4. What do you like about the current website?
The client does not like the current website at all.
First website that they have created, was blocked by Chinese government and also they couldn't update the website for long time.
Now they created a new website on January 2011, that is not blocked. So current website does not have a lot of information or images.
Q5. What do you not like about the current website?
Do not like design of the website, because it is too simple, and it does not fit to atmosphere of culture center.
It should be easy to understand by everyone who uses website.
Q6. Who is the audience for this website?
Japanese, Chinese, or Americans, etc. that are living in Beijing, people who are interested in this culture center, and who wants to learn new things.
Q7. What kind of website do you want? (looks) Simple?
Simple, but it should have color. People could be interested.
Website that could make viewer want to look around whole website.
Q8. Do you really need a website?
Really needed and she thinks website should change a lot.
Q9. Who was the creator?
Base of the website is made by a guy, then it was edited by someone.
Problems and Current situation
From the actual website, I can see the website have only one language, and it is too simple. It has no color.
It is written in blog style so sometimes it is hard to read.
Some information is not enough, for instance, I do not have detailed opinion of my client about appearance of the website.
Also, there is not enough information about how many and what kind of classes are provided to clients of the Culture Center. - Those information are needed for adding information on the website.
Problem that the client has
She does not like the current website. She want to create website that is easy to read for people who visited the website. However, she is not familiar with using computer technology.
